Some qualities that Black and Chitty define in the book as a professional nurse are someone who can understand a body of knowledge, have ethical standards, and have specialized education (Black & Chitty, 2014, p. 65). That said, having ethical standards doesn't mean wearing a highly sexualized outfit but a more professional and ethical one. A proper image of the typical nurse's outfit should include a white coat that shows no cleavage. Wearing sneakers instead of sandals is also professionally correct.
