A thief considered a hero. He was an excellent archer. Robin Hood was a hero in his time. While many believe he was a thief and a villain before the law, others think he was a hero to the poor. Some people might say that Robin Hood stole from the government, and stealing is a crime, no matter the cause. They might also say that if people nowadays stole from the rich and gave the money to the poor, they would be arrested because stealing is against the law. Finally, people who think that Robin Hood was wrong in what he did might say that he betrayed his country. It's true that Robin Hood stole, which is why he was an outlaw. Anyone in this period steals from the rich and gives to the poor will be arrested and probably put in prison for a long time, theft is against the law and that is the end. “An Australian self-help guru accused of using a story about Mexican drug gang members to rob a US bank of $US140,000 ($136,074) has portrayed himself as a Robin Hood who stole from the rich to give to the desperately poor of America." He was labeled so because he was betraying his country by robbing the prince, Prince John, and fighting the Sheriff of Nottingham. They were two people in positions of power and authority, and Robin Hood challenged them and fought against them.
