From a group of twenty interns was the only one chosen to join the studio, Dean Witter. All his hard work and commitment had paid off. No matter what problems he faced, Gardner got up every time and found a way to get things done. He knew the only way to lift him and his son out of poverty was to never give up on his dream. After Gardner began his career as a stockbroker, he found the Garner Rich firm in 1987 and entered into a multimillion-dollar deal with this firm in 2006. This movie is very meaningful to me, as it showed me that no matter what problems you face, never give up on your dreams. As you may have noticed, the word happiness is misspelled in the title, which is no coincidence. The meaning of this is to show that no matter how the word is shown, if you truly feel happiness, it doesn't matter how it is written. In this movie I was taught the hard ways of life and I saw that when life gets tough you don't just do it, instead you use it as motivation to work even harder, like Chris Gardner did. This film showed me that for many of us, life is easy compared to Gardner, and we shouldn't take that for granted. As Gardner establishes in the film, we all have the ability to do great things in life, but it won't be easy because it will take time and effort.
