We have students who talk back to teachers or even hit them, parents who yell and try (and sometimes succeed) to get what they want, and administrators who are involved in legal issues and overwhelmed. This leaves teachers alone to manage more and more. It is not surprising how many educators choose to leave the profession to gain better earnings and greater respect in other fields. However, this exodus leaves the remainder even more stressed as it becomes increasingly difficult to find, train and retain new teachers.
