I have always wanted to help people. I have always wanted to help make a difference in people's lives. I plan to become an audiologist because I want to change people's lives and how can I be able to help them and make a difference in someone's life. As an audiologist I want to help people hear, whether by providing them with a hearing aid or helping them with other hearing options. I want to be able to get a hearing test and/or help people through therapy or to be able to find other forms of help if I am unable to provide the help needed. As an audiologist there is a lot to learn. I will learn what an audiologist does and also the environment in which they work. I plan to learn how the equipment works. I will also learn what education is required for this professional field, but also how and where I can obtain the necessary knowledge. What skills do I need, even to achieve those, and how much education is required, what qualifications do I need to acquire. The things I have learned and intend to acquire and what I didn't know. I chose to become an audiologist because of all the challenges I know I will face, along with the ones I know I can overcome. Why did I choose this career? I chose this career because I want to help people with hearing disabilities. This career interests me because I love being able to help people and especially children. How do I intend to achieve this goal? Well, I plan to achieve this by attending a college that allows me to earn a doctorate in audiology. So I plan to open my own practice or work in a clinic. My desire is to work with people of all ages, but I like working with children with hearing disabilities most. In this job you will need many skills. What the f......middle of paper......experience. I've learned that working with children is something I'd like to do, along with working with adults. I love the satisfaction of knowing I can help people with disabilities that could be helped. I also loved seeing the smiles on their faces when we helped them not only have a better way of understanding daily life, but also the fact that we absolutely made their day better. There is so much I can learn from this career. I can learn how to use and maintain the equipment. I can learn different ways to help people. I can learn so much about this career and gain a lot of knowledge and experience over the years. I like working with people and children. I too want to make a difference in as many lives as possible. I would like to become an audiologist for many different reasons, especially the challenges I will face and which I hope to overcome.
