Engineering is the study of scientific, economic aspects and much more. Engineers incorporate other people's ideas and begin to develop them. They have the ability to take something that has already been invented and build it to be similar to the object that has already been built and make it better. In Engineering there are four main disciplines which are: chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. Engineering has existed since ancient times. Since then there have been many great inventions. Many of the things that have been built or constructed in the world have happened because of engineering. The four disciplines of engineering have helped many of the great engineers in what they have built. This is why these four main disciplines are very important for engineers themselves. There is a fundamental question: what do engineers do on a daily basis? What engineers do on a daily basis is work on the things they need to do in order to complete the task or goal. They go to work and sit all day putting things into computers that can help them with what they're doing. All they do is work on new ideas that people have given them. They can also take an invention and innovate it and try to make it better than how it was first built. Architecture is an extension of civil engineering. It is an extension of civil engineering because it deals with the construction of roads, buildings, towers, etc. Architecture is the same thing, it has to do with the construction process. My selected result is highways. I chose this because it has to do with what interests me, which is architecture. Highways were built and grew over time until they were bigger, longer, and bigger. These highways were built to avoid traffic and not use local roads. They were built with good safety and precision. The discipline most used in this result is civil engineering. Civil engineering deals with construction and that is how highways and architecture were built.
