It's easy to find that there is so much trash around us even on our beautiful campus. For example, these days I usually see some cans, wine bottles and some paper waste like packing bags on my way to class. I wake up every day with a smiling face, but the moment I see them, I can't smile anymore. I think no one can stand the green trees, the red flowers growing in the sea of ​​garbage. Pollution is so harmful to humans. Polluted water can cause many kinds of diseases, such as diarrhea, enteritis and so on. And sometimes diseases even take away man's life. Dirty air or airborne waste causes burning eyes and a runny nose. Pollutants are destructive. They will cause sock marks and rubber tire breaks and will always corrode stone and iron rust. From time to time, serious accidents occur that pollute the air. For example, in 1986 a bad accident occurred at a nuclear power plant in Russia. A cloud of radiation crossed the whole of Europe. It is said that 125,000 people in Russia died from diseases caused by that accident. In 1984, an accident occurred at a factory in India and a dangerous gas cloud covered the city of Bhopal. More than 2,500 people were killed that night and hundreds and thousands of people were injured. Many of the injured have lost their sight, and it is really dangerous, even in our imagination. Because of how dangerous pollution is, we need to do something to protect our campus or even our land. I believe some effective solutions that can help are suggested as follows. Too many cars can cause terrible air problems. Because...halfway through the card...it's no longer free, people have to pay and people will think: do they really need the bag? Can they carry them on cars? I believe that in the United States there will be less plastic things around us. In conclusion I must say that there is still a long way to go to have a "clean" world. Almost all countries are making efforts to prevent and control air pollution. There seems to be no end to the tasks that environmentalists will be called upon to perform. But it's never too late for success. People will continually find new and new ways to control pollution. And success belongs to those who persevere. I believe that in the future there are only green trees, red flowers, singing birds and all the beauties on our campus. One day, when I wake up, I will walk to class with all my pleasures, because there will be no more cans, wine bottles and colorful plastic bags on my school route..
