There are many qualities and characteristics that a leader must possess in order to be successful in the long run. A leader impacts all of his followers. They need others to feel inspired and their followers want to lead a group of people one day. Leaders must be determined to achieve their goals every step of the way and must always have a strong mind. To be a quality leader you need to have many qualities; how to be an inspiration, engage with followers in what they are leading, and lead people in the right direction. First, good leaders must be inspiring. Inspirational leaders are those who make others feel moved and encouraged to do inspiring things in life and to be leaders too. Jack Lengyel, the coach from the movie We Are Marshall has been an inspiration to many. In We Are Marshall all the football players were on a plane flight heading to the championships and they got into a plane crash. Footballers, coaches, parents and teachers died in the tragic accident. The only people left on the team were the players who were injured and couldn't go. Jack Lengyel entered the school and volunteered to be the coach of the new football team he wanted to create in honor of those who left. He always motivated the new team of players to do better and win for the team that left, and for them to do their best. He proved that achieving it was not impossible. Before the first game of the season for the new team he gave a pep talk at the cemetery where the players of the accident football team were buried. He inspired the team to take the field and win the first match and made the players on the team feel strong, motivated and special.
