Entrepreneurs are people “who organize and manage any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk,” which is the definition of an entrepreneur according to Dictionary.com. There are many entrepreneurs in this world, but as can be seen from sources such as books: Steve Jobs: The Man Who Thought Different, The Entrepreneur Mind, Ugly Americans: The True Story of the Ivy League Cowboys Who Raided the Asian Markets for Millions , the film The Social Network and other research, entrepreneurship is not for everyone. For entrepreneurs to be successful, they must be extremely efficient, hardworking, committed, inventive, willing to risk their personal finances or those of others, and in love with their business. Entrepreneurs are incredibly important to our economy and the world; that's why we always have new items coming. Entrepreneurs give us cell phones, computers, restaurants, dance studios, candy stores, etc. Entrepreneurs start businesses ranging from local candy shops to Steve Jobs' creation of Apple. It's always great to see businesses doing well in your community; How and why are they successful? Many successful people did not follow the “normal lifestyle”. These people are prosperous because “not only do they work, but they work non-stop, no work in the afterlife,” according to Steve Jobs: The Man Who Thought Different by Karen Blumenthal (Blumenthal 136). Steve Jobs is an example of this type of person; fell… halfway down the paper… Entrepreneurs are those who often start the businesses that create all things in our world. If there were few entrepreneurs we would be limited in what we can buy because there would be fewer types of the same product. This would also increase the prices of items because companies would not have as much competition. Entrepreneurs will continue to create new businesses, and their companies will continue to give us the ability to purchase new types of products as our country advances. Think about how far the Apple company has come, with Steve Jobs starting it in his garage. It gave us such new technology that so many people love. Entrepreneurs are so important because they provide us with the goods we want and need.
