Topic > Tropical Rainforest Ecosystems - 1330

Many animals around the world are individually and uniquely created in a special way. Just as there is a variety of animals, there is a variety of ecosystems, and each ecosystem is completely different, but each ecosystem creates environments in which all these different animals can live. If more people started to look around and realize that some things they do can affect animals and surrounding ecosystems, then more animals wouldn't be in danger, because more people would see that the way they do things can affect animals and they would start to change their ways. The tropical rainforest is just one of many different ecosystems around the world. Tropical rainforests can be a truly amazing ecosystem due to the unique environment. The rainforest can be very humid, hot and humid due to all the rainfall. The average rainfall is approximately 50-200 inches of rain per year. Due to rainfall, the temperature in the tropical rainforest can range from 93 degrees Fahrenheit and drop to around 68 degrees Fahrenheit. In a rainforest the altitude may be low as the forest is close to sea level. Little ones know that a rainforest provides 40% of the earth's oxygen. A rainforest has a variety of things such as plants, soil, animals and microorganisms. The plants found in the forest are coconut trees, bamboo, fig, durian, jambu, avocado and banana trees. Rainforest trees make up about 70% of plants. Trees are very important and actually provide us with almost a quarter of the medicines we use today. The rainforest soil is not the richest but, on the other hand, the vegetation is very strong due to nutrient cycling. The amount of animals found in the middle of a sheet of paper creates health problems. Believe it or not, the little things we do day after day affect the world around us. Even though the world seems so big, it won't be for long if we continue to live as we do. Helping the world could be as easy as: reducing shower time and not letting the water run, instead of throwing away our essays, it would be better for the world if we didn't waste paper and recycled. The more paper that is thrown away in the world, the more trees that are cut down, which gives us oxygen. When everyone is going about their daily lives, remember to keep the environment in mind and if we could get everyone to work together we can make a difference to the world around us. Involving everyone encourages their friends and family to help do the same, we can make the world a better place, just one step at a time.
