Henrik Ibsen was a great writer who invented the play called “A Doll's House”. Henrick Ibsen was born on March 20, 1828 in Skien, Norway, he was a good writer and one of his best known works was “A Doll's House”, this work was known all over the world. A Doll's House was Ibsen's first international success, A Doll's House was released on 4 December 1879 and ran on 8,000 copies. of Ibsen's greatest work, the first book sold in less than a month. It was an international play because Ibsen used it based on some of the things he was going through. The symbols of the dollhouse are the Christmas tree and New Year's Day. The Christmas tree, a festive object intended to serve a decorative purpose, symbolizes Nora's position in her family as a toy that is pleasant to look at and adds charm to the home. New Year's Eve represents the action of the play, it is set in the Christmas season, and Nora and Torvald both look forward to New Year's Eve as the beginning of a new, happier phase in their lives. The characters of the work are Nora, Torvald's witch wife, during the show it seems that she is not happy, Nora is the protagonist of the story, at the beginning of the story after returning from Christmas shopping she was eating some macaroons and her husband Torvald told her he asked if she had eaten macaroons and she said no, you can tell she likes to lie or she likes to hide things from her husband, she is... a middle of paper... ...I want to become a grown man and do things like a real woman would do and have time to learn more about the world, one morning after they both think about some things, Nora and Torvald start arguing about it and he tells her that he doesn't blame her at all, because he he loves and wanted to stay with her and be like they were before and make her happy, but he didn't realize that he wasn't happy at all, she then told him that she had decided that she was going to leave him and make a life out of this world.
