Whether it is products, religious beliefs, political opinions, or anything else people are trying to sell you today. A great example of someone who is successful in hoping to persuade people is John Edwards. He is able to persuade people during a 6 hour sermon to believe and fear Hell. As he does so, he receives several responses, including fear, weakness, and hope. He gets a frightening response by telling them of the many horrors of Hell and the horrible wrath of God. To gain weakness, he tells how significant they will be as sinners in the eyes of God.
