Steve's work has made him outrageously famous in popularity and fame. He emerged into the spotlight very quickly due to the co-founding of Apple Co. His popularity and fame have increased over the years as he continues to introduce new products for consumers to purchase. Many like to call him "the genius of a generation". (“Steve Jobs” pg.1) In 1982 Time Magazine had previously named his Apple computer “Machine of the Year” in addition to a lengthy profile of Jobs and then became famous for it. (Riggertj pg 1) He was later awarded the “National Medal of Technology” by President Ronald Reagan in the category of “Best Public Service by an Individual 35 or Under.” (Riggertj pg 1) In 1989 Jobs was named Inc. Magazine's “Entrepreneur of the Decade”. In November 2007, Jobs was named the most powerful and intriguing person in business by Fortune magazine. Two Disney films “John Carter” and Pixar's “Brave” were dedicated to Steve Jobs. (The Life and Legacy of Steve Jobs" pg.1) Jobs later was chosen as Tovar 6Disney Legend by many on Pixar on August 10, 2013. On December 5, 2007, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger inducted Jobs in the California Hall of Fame.(Entrepreneur Steve Jobs embodies American creativity” page 1) In August 2009, Jobs was chosen as the most admired entrepreneur among teenagers in a poll conducted by Junior Achievement on November 5 2009 Jobs was named CEO of the Decade by Fortune magazine In November 2010, Jobs was ranked 17th on Forbes The most memorable honor he received was on December 21, 2011, when Graphisoft Company unveiled the first statue. in bronze to the world of Steve Jobs, calling h...... middle of paper ...... things every day and he did exactly that.
