I learned so much about children who suffer from this disability. I learned how I could make a difference in someone's life. I went to my church and spoke in front of my congregation about disability awareness and how they could help the autism community as well. I went to a nursery school where there was a class of children with special needs and I had a painting lesson with unconventional objects. We laughed, learned, played and had so much fun. I got to meet some amazing people in the autism community through this opportunity. I made a difference, no matter how small, in these people's lives. It was a truly eye-opening experience not just for me but for my entire self
