Topic > Married woman should quit her job to take care of...

Nowadays, the problems of working mothers have increased. In Malaysia, the number of married women going to work after independence increased from 30.8% to 47.1% in 1995. This shows that there are many married women who work. However, even if they have a job, they are still primarily responsible for the home and family. A mother has her own responsibility towards the family, such as taking care of the house and also taking care of the children. If mothers work, they will juggle multiple roles. Therefore, the potential stress and conflict in the home will increase. Therefore, women are better at doing household chores and taking care of their children than men. I believe a married woman should quit her job to take care of her children for three reasons. First, children need their mothers. Of course, a woman's first priority is her child, whether she works or not. Women are designed to raise and nourish infants and young children close to their bodies. Children really need their mothers especially during infancy up to 2 years old. . Ideally all children should be breastfed until at least the age of 2 years. Therefore, if mothers are unemployed, they can give full attention to their children and can even breastfeed them. There is no need to buy milk from outside. Furthermore, children also need the safety of their parents. If both parents work, how will the children feel safe? That's why babies really need mothers for their safety and also comfort. Plus, it's best for children's development. Mothers are the best teachers for children. During infancy to age five, children reach a multitude of developmental milestones. As they grow, they learn from the people around them. Therefore, mothers are the best teachers to teach children. They learn, play, talk, behave and move from one place to another. They learn those things based on what they see or what their mothers teach them. Additionally, mothers can monitor children's activities. Mothers, for example, can monitor what their children do at home and what they do in their free time. Mothers can also ensure that children have a safer and more varied experience throughout life.
