The 3 main differences between HRM and SHRM are1. Focus-HRM: Focuses on the needs of the employees working for the company. SHRM: Focuses on the needs of internal and external employees. Example: On the tarmac, the HR manager is concerned about the well-being of employees, but the SHR manager is concerned about the well-being of internal and external employees.2. Responsibilities-HRM- The manager has costs at the center. SHRM- The manager has investments at the center of his work. Example: In Tarmac, the HR manager is concerned about the cost of the product or service, but in SHR the manager is concerned about the investment required for the product or service.3. Initiatives-HRM- The manager's work is slow and reactive.SHRM- The manager's work speed is fast and is proactive. Example- On asphalt, HR manager has slow working speed, but SHR manager works in high speed environment .1. B. The 4 roles of SHRM in Tarmac are: Role 1- Strategic Partner: It is a dual role for HR manager in Tarmac, it deals with HR planning and recruitment for the company. He is also determined about the success of the measures taken by him for the benefit of the company. He must closely monitor the progress of his strategies and the decisions he takes. He has the ability to question his self-determination many times and repeatedly reflect on decisions in his mind. To increase productivity and sales, HRM must provide training and seminars on new technologies and make the employee aware of the ongoing trend in the market. Example: Due to the different nature of the workplace, there can be misunderstandings within the company team and this can lead to a catastrophic environment. So it is necessary for the employee to maintain regular contact with the HR manager for the correct information.
