As mentioned above, social objects or artifacts are usually collected in museums. However, individuals also collect different objects that give meaning to their individual and community lives. These items can be collected and stored in so-called collector's items. Collected objects seem to be seen as a way to bring order into a world without order to give meaning to the past, present and future, which is why museums collect historical objects. For example, dolls as objects teach non-Native Americans about Indian culture. Unlike the museum, I have collected items in a Wonder Box shown below that have significant meaning in my personal and community life
