My father was very strict when it came to grades, insisting that I get all A's and, at worst, an A-. For a long time I lived up to my father's expectations. I worked hard and passed almost every test and quiz until my sophomore year of high school. I admit I struggled in high school. However, I still continued to work hard every year. My freshman year of high school I was named Spanish Student of the Year. That year I studied day and night for my Spanish course and it finally paid off. My parents told me they couldn't have been more proud of me. I continue to work hard in my studies and strive to increase my knowledge. As you can clearly see, my parents had a major impact on who I am today. If it weren't for their love and support, who knows if I would be here at Ohio Northern University. My parents and I myself are proud of how my life has turned out so far. I hope to continue on this path I have taken for myself, and I hope it leads me to a bright and successful future
