HISTORY Regarding this assignment, the company that is of interest is Sainsbury, because it is the longest running food retail chain in Great Britain, France and other European countries. Sainsbury's supermarket was founded in 1869 by John James and Mary AnnSainsbury. Sainsbury's supermarket serves over 11 million customers a week and had 535 stores across the UK in May 2003. I also used my lecture notes to help me with this task, as well as researched other resources such as textbooks and also looked into what Sir Alaistar had thought about customer service. I used the internet to find information about Saisntobury, track customer performance and other various areas I looked into. In some areas many adjustments were needed that were made in E2 and E3 which were not corrected after receiving feedback. The research took a lot of time to research specific areas as I needed this investigation on this assignment.
