As I stated earlier in the assessment, photovoltaic systems, or Solar Home Systems (SHS), and many other solar energy systems play a significant role in harvesting solar energy. But the most widely used solar energy systems are grid-tied systems, grid-tied stand-alone systems, off-grid systems, stand-alone off-grid systems and stand-alone off-grid hybrid systems. In grid-tied or connected systems, solar energy is used during the day by the owner of the system. At night the owner uses the previously collected electricity grid. A huge advantage of having a grid-tied system is that the solar system does not need to be sized to meet peak loads, surpluses can be taken from the grid. In most cases, the residual energy generated during the day can be fed back into the grid. Grid-connected systems must meet public utility requirements. More importantly, inverters must not emit noise that could interfere with equipment reception. The inverters must also turn off in the event of a grid failure. Finally, they must maintain the quality of the voltage and current output waveforms. Grid-connected systems can be applied to residential installations. Standalone grid-connected systems are the same as grid-connected systems, except with the addition of storage batteries to allow power generation even in the event of a power grid failure. Grid-tied autonomous systems can be applied to residential and business systems that require unlimited, uninterrupted power that will continue to generate day and night. Off-grid systems are not connected to the electricity grid. The performance of an off-grid system strongly depends on the intensity of the rays emitted by the sun. The more intense the sun exposure, the higher the yield. They can also be used for water pumps and greenhouse vents...... half of paper......ms. Solar panels can also cause health problems because they are made of silicon which is dangerous when silicon dust is inhaled, which forms scar tissue on the lungs. Finally, cost and efficiency probably have the biggest negative effect of all. The cost of installing solar units and solar panels is very high, and energy can only be harvested during the day, so energy can run out quickly. What is the future potential for solar energy? Solar energy has already had a major influence on the way we have seen the use of energy sources. I believe that in the future the human race will completely abandon the use of oil and coal and focus on a more efficient and cleaner way of obtaining energy, so we will only use solar energy. Solar energy will be the basis for all energy sources because the rays come from the sun, so it is accessible
