Take a look at the back of a dollar bill. If anyone looks at it closely, they will see a pyramid with an eye on it. This is known as “The All-Seeing Eye” (MacArthur 1). Some people know about the All-Seeing Eye, but little do they know that it is a Masonic symbol, associated with the Illuminati. Over time there have been many rumors and myths about the Illuminati, leaving everyone with the big question: who are the Illuminati and do they exist? Without evidence, as far as anyone knows, they don't; however there is history and evidence of their existence, which brings this secret society out of the darkness and into the light. Before anyone can truly understand the Illuminati, it is important to understand the actual definition of the Illuminati. According to unc.edu, the word Illuminati stands for someone enlightened, or basically someone with great knowledge. This all sounds nice and elegant, but it is also important to know who created the Illuminati and who is the first person to have that great knowledge. On May 1, 1776, a German professor named Adam Weishaupt founded the Illuminati. Their main objective was to “achieve the highest possible degree of morality and virtue and lay the foundation for the reform of the world through the association of good men to oppose the progress of moral evil” (Benjamin Bulford). In other words, Adam was tired of people ruling the government and tired of people ruling people, which is why he created the Illuminati. Their basic objective was to enlighten people about ethics and generally educate people. This all sounds great on paper, but the hardest part about achieving these goals is that it would take a long time, which Adam was fully aware of (Harding 1). According to Mike H...... middle of paper... ....The Illuminati have one goal in mind, and if we are all blind to society's plans, then we will all be caught by surprise when government power turns us will be ripped away.Works Cited"1776.in -€"The Bavarian Illuminati." 1776.in.
